People often forget about the BAFTAs. Sure, in your head it might go Golden Globes, then the Oscars. But there’s the Writers Guild Awards, the SAGs and the BAFTAs in between – the latter, which happens on the other side of the pond. And the stars always come out, and this time around the colour palette felt very familiar.

One after the other, it was red or white, and the flurry of activity began to feel like we were watching the Canadian flag, waving in the wind. Dakota Johnson (red), Julianne Moore (white), Hannah Bagshawe (red) and Rooney Mara (white) all killed it. In fact, you’ll see that this red carpet was absolutely dripping with style. Sure, there were some misses (Saorise Ronan and Matt Damon‘s wife Luciana, for example (sorry)), but overall it was a pretty awesome display. Take a look:
