When the Parks & Recreation virtual reunion was announced, we were hoping for a little Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) sass, maybe a little Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) realness, and a big dollop of Tom Haverford’s (Aziz Ansari) biting sarcasm. We're pleased to report that the Pawnee P&R department totally delivered. The entire group joined into a Zoom conference from self-isolation (yes, Rashida Jones' Anne Perkins is still with Rob Lowe's Chris Traeger, they’re just video-chatting from different rooms of their house) and it felt like we were picking up where we left off when we last saw the gang. Then they threw us a curve ball in the form of a musical  tribute to our fave little pony.Noting that Leslie needed a little something to lift her spirits, Ron Swanson introduced Andy Dyer (Chris Pratt) who picked up his acoustic guitar to strum the uplifting chords of "5000 Candles In The Wind." It's the throwback we needed—the song written for the late great pony, Li'l Sebastian! As Andy, sporting an impressive quarantine-beard and a t-shirt reading, “I met Li'l Sebastian,” began to sing, “Bye bye Lil’ Sebastian! I miss you in the saddest fashion,” Leslie gasped with delight, as she is wont to do, and the rest of the gang (minus Ben, who historically has never understand the majesty of Li'l Seb) sang along. April Ludgate (Aubrey Plaza) and Donna Meagle (Retta) held up lighters and phone flashlights to show appreciation for the homage to the little pony and, of course, Ron openly wept.[video_embed id='1945872']RELATED: ‘Parks and Rec’ cast reuniting for virtual episode[/video_embed]Naturally, self-isolated fans of the show took to social media to express their bittersweet joy at hearing this tune again. Some were naturally moved to tears (actually most were—look at all the sad reacts!), but for many others it was just pure joy. No matter how it made you feel, so many fans were gabbing about this epic moment in TV reunion history, that it actually made Li'l Sebastian a trending topic on Twitter.Well done, Li’l Sebastian. Hope you’re eating all the hay in heaven.[video_embed id='1947235']BEFORE YOU GO: Chris Pratt & Katherine Schwarzenegger expecting first child together[/video_embed]
