Maybe you remember Zendaya from her Disney acting days, maybe you’ve been following her handy beauty tricks, or perhaps you’re just discovering the 21-year-old entertainer now. Either way, after you watch this, she’s going to go up a few notches in your books.

While chatting about her latest flick The Greatest Showman with co-star Zac Efron, Zendaya jumped up from her seat, interrupting the journalist who was in the middle of asking a question, to fix a rogue hair that was pointing straight up.

“Hold on, really quick, I don’t want to be weird–this is gonna bother me,” she says, carefully brushing the journalists unruly hair back into place.

The actress then takes her seat again next to Effron, explaining, “You had one piece of hair that was just sticking up. I was like, ‘He’s gonna be mad about it when he sees it later.’ I got you.”

I got you! Adorable. Not even most regular people would go out of their way to adjust a stranger’s hair, let alone a celebrity.

Zendaya seems like the kind of person who would immediately let you know when you’ve got kale caught in your teeth, so you don’t waltz through the afternoon with a smile accented with leafy bits of green. You know she’ll definitely have your back when it comes to any style or beauty mishap that might come your way.

The whole encounter is so very charming and sweet, and the reporter whom she saves seems pretty thankful, too.

Unfortunately Zendaya’s hair repair didn’t quite stick, and part way through the interview the journalist’s hair is back to misbehaving. The star doesn’t try to fix it this time, though. Maybe she didn’t want to embarrass him any further, or maybe she was so engaged in the convo that she stopped noticing his hair–either way, this guy is probably going to consider a new ‘do (or a hat) for his next celeb sit-down.
