It looks like the internet’s boyfriend is now a real person’s boyfriend. After initially appearing together this summer at the MOCA benefit in May and Saint Laurent fashion show in June, Keanu Reeves and longtime friend Alexandra Grant appear to have made things official by walking their first major red carpet together at the LACMA Art + Film Gala this past weekend.Reeves and Grant were photographed at the Gala on Saturday where they smiled on the red carpet while holding hands, possibly confirming their rumoured romance. Although neither party has made an official statement on their relationship (or updated their Facebook status), the longtime single friends looked happy together this past weekend.The 55-year-old actor and 46-year-old artist have been friends for years and even worked together on several occasions. In 2011, Grant illustrated Reeves’ “Ode to Happiness,” a picture book for adults. The pair teamed up once again in 2016 for Reeves’ book “Shadows,” with Grant once again illustrating. One year later, the pair launched the publishing company
X Artists’ Books, which they currently run together.According to Grant’s
artist bio, she’s a Los Angeles based artist who explores various forms of media with a focus primarily on text and language. Like Reeves, she spent her childhood in several countries, including Mexico, France and Spain.
