It was a typical day on Tinder, as Hayden Moll was browsing Tinder, be it for an ego stroke–or another kind–flicking through faces at unfathomable speeds, when one young lady caught his eye. He liked the look of her, the pics of her and her friends and her mom, and just when he went to swipe right, his finger developed a mind of its own and swiped the opposite way and, just like that, there went his dream girl, into the abyss of other rejected matches.

While others might be filled with regret but would chalk it up as ‘not meant to be’ and make it their mission in life to forget about what could’ve been, Hayden was not one to give up. He took the basic information he remembered from her profile — her name is Claudia; she’s 18, not 20, like her bio states; she’s a student at Missouri State University — and applied it in the most proactive way possible: he emailed every Claudia at MSU in search of the one that got away. And it worked!

And people were loving it.

More like a Tinderella story. Now the real question: how did Claudia swipe back? According to the Springfield News-Leader, the two are planning to go on a “doughnut date” later this week. How sweet is that?
