Kristen Bell wants you to know that she baked a baby in her oven - make that TWO babies - and she’s got some next-level advice for new parents and mothers-to-be. Bell was joined by actress and mom-of-three Jennifer Garner in a hilarious new episode of her Ellen-produced web series Momsplaining, and the pair chatted with a pregnant woman and two new moms about all things #momlife. While Garner called giving birth "the most romantic day you'll ever experience," Bell had a different take. “It’s gonna look like a homicide,” she warned her pregnant guest. “There is way more blood than you think there should be.” Continuing on the topic of labour and delivery, Bell warmly encouraged the woman to make a birth plan, holding up a printed example. “Put a lot of thought in it, take a deep breath, and then just...” At this point, Bell dramatically rips the paper in half. “It’s never gonna happen like that. Get rid of it. And that is kind of what labour is like!” Garner smiles and nods, serenely adding, “Yeah...it is.”
Bell went on to describe when she was pregnant with her first child and felt her water break in the bathroom of her home. After excitedly calling her husband, Dax Shepard, and going to see her doctor, she was informed that her water hadn’t actually broken - she’d just peed her pants. “Did you pee your pants?!” Garner cooed sympathetically, putting her arm around Bell’s shoulders. “Oh, honey.”Inspired by the tale, the group then played a game called ‘Did My Water Break or Did I Pee My Pants?’. This involved having a waiter fill condoms with water so the moms could race around the restaurant with prophylactic water balloons gripped between their knees. Spoiler alert: Jennifer Garner was the clear winner, as the only one who didn’t smash her water condom all over the restaurant floor. “She has three kids,” Bell conceded. “That’s why she’s a mom beast.”Bell and longtime partner Dax Shepard have been married for five years and share two daughters, Lincoln and Delta. The actress commemorated their recent wedding anniversary with this sweet Instagram post, which detailed how they had both forgotten the date until family reminded them. Bell explained, “I find when you are living with gratitude each moment, the dates become irrelevant. To get to wake up next to someone who has put hard work, respectful fights, patience, understanding and gratitude into your relationship is the definition of love.” Jennifer Garner was married to Ben Affleck for over ten years and continues to co-parent children Violet, Seraphina and Samuel with the actor.[video_embed id='1504117']Kristen Bell lies to her kids about their birthdays[/video_embed]
