A 9-year-old and a 10-year-old boy duo are now known as little heroes in the US after coming to the aid of a woman whose baby stopped breathing. While one boy shared his knowledge of CPR, the other was on watch for the ambulance.

Ethan Wilson and Rocky Hurt were just playing with a football in a front yard when they received the frantic cry for help.

Susanna Rohm was scared and home alone when she ran outside — her two-month-old son, Isaiah, had gone pale, felt limp in her lap and stopped breathing.

“I had him in my arms and still screaming over and over. Then I ran outside. I saw two boys playing across the street and I yelled, ‘go ask your parents to call 911′”, Rohm told Fox News.

Rather than panicking or getting scared, Wilson suggested to his buddy that they follow through with the phone call and Rocky ran over to help the woman immediately.

“He came in and I had my hand on my baby’s chest just screaming and the little boy said, ‘put two fingers on his stomach,’” said Rohm.  ”He said, ‘press down five times,’ so I did five compressions, and then he said, ‘breathe in his mouth.’”

Soon, the infant released a loud cry before the ambulance’s arrival followed. Rocky remained calm.

Had the two boys not been there, Susanna fears things would have played out much differently.  She is incredibly grateful for Rocky and his ability to walk her through the compressions that saved her baby’s life.

Kids these days, eh?  If they’re anything like Rocky and Ethan, they can be pretty great.
