Put a little more energy into staying current -- you need to learn more about what's going on. This could apply to news events, pop culture, politics, sports or even just your inner social circle! Pick up some magazines, check out what's going on online and ask people about the buzz. When you do enough research about the modern world, you will always have something to say. This is valuable when it comes to building relationships.
Kick your routine to the curb -- during the first couple of days this week, you get a real kick out of doing something different, exposing yourself to new ideas and saying 'see ya' to any rut you're in. (After you get caught up on work, that is, knowing you.) Wednesday, Thursday and Friday contain the kind of cosmic energy that could go either way. The key? Communication, of course. Be clear and be kind. Friends, family and community are highlighted this weekend. Join together -- the more, the merrier!
Your natural instinct is usually to give, give, give, then give some more. Whether you're helping take up the slack at work or you're lending your deadbeat cousin money when you go home for a weekend visit, you tend to do a lot (and sometimes a little too much) for others. On the 1st, make a concerted effort not to give, give, give. Instead, keep. And if you're feeling adventurous, take. It's crucial, after all, that you allow others to help you out too sometimes. Otherwise, you're not really letting them be close to you. By the 4th, 5th and 6th, you are in control. Want these to be good days? Make 'em that way. Everything is pretty wonderful (without you needing to lift a finger) on the stupendous 12th and 13th. Enjoy the heck out of it! By the how-did-you-wind-up-with-so-many-family-obligations 19th and 20th, you had better just go ahead and meet the obligations you signed up for, and make a mental note to commit to less next time. Nothing is set in stone on the 25th. Take time for a little soul searching on the 29th, 30th and 31st.
