There will be many false starts today, either in a romantic context or in some other, emotionally-charged arena. You will feel you've been promised something when no promise has actually been made. To protect yourself from being hurt, it is best for you to not have any expectations at all. There will not be any type of follow-through communication. That phone call or email is not going to make its way to you today, so do yourself a favor and focus on other things that you can do something about.


Monday through Wednesday, as much as you'd like to wear bright, colorful clothes, you'd be better off taking a black-and-white approach. Flamboyance is a problem the first half of the week, and self-control and professionalism are required at work right now. You get to have some more fun the second half of the week. Thursday and Friday are great days. A friend whispers something in your ear that puts a grin on your face. Saturday and Sunday are full of down-tempo pleasure.


There's a lot of energy coalescing around you on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and a lot of it is pointing you in unexplored directions. What has always fascinated you, but from afar? Whether it's an idea, a country, a person or even a career, spend some time as winter settles in getting a closer look. After all, there's no need to limit yourself to the world as you know it, when the world as you know it has so many mysteries hiding behind unexplored corners and heavy, red velvet curtains. Make some holiday plans on the 6th and 7th. By the ooh-la-la 10th and 11th, your intense energy will have attracted a lot of romantic attention. Bask in it! There's nothing quite like holding hands through the holidays to make them more wonderful. And, well, it just wouldn't be the holiday season without a little tension on the all-things-familial front. So if tension arises on the 21st or 22nd, keep your cool and do your best to keep the peace. Stay open, nonjudgmental and flexible on the 23rd, 24th and 25th. Plan what you want to change in the New Year on the 28th, 29th and 30th. Stay positive on the 31st.
