Billions of bugs emerge in noisy mating scene

Red-eyed cicadas are looking to take part in one giant orgy.

Aww yeah, billions of horny insects are emerging to take part in a noisy orgy. Every 17 years, the red-eyed cicadas pop up between the Carolinas and Connecticut, singing for sex. Once they do their business, they lay eggs and disappear for another 17 years. The whole process takes about 4 to 6 weeks.
