Brooklyn: It’s apparently the place to die.
For over 175 years, people have flocked to Green-Wood Cemetary to be buried. They’ve come in such numbers, that the plot has turned into a museum of famous and infamous figures.
The father of Tiffany & Co. is buried there, alongside Bill the Butcher, the inspiration for Martin Scorcese’s film, Gangs of New York.
To celebrate the milestone, Green Wood is opening an exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York.
