THE LOOP is a free weekly Ebulletin combined with an online
calendar promoting local music, culture & entertainment events. Currently,
there are event calendars for Guelph,
Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge, Hamilton/ Burlington and launched in June 2010 - Toronto's Queen West area.
We filter
through the calendar's comprehensive event listings to write THE INSIDE LOOP
for the email bulletin, our guide to what's great and going on in the current
week.
We combine
the pull of our website with the push of an email bulletin to promote local
culture.
* The
bulletin is delivered to subscribers via email every Wednesday.
*
Subscription is free.
* Event
promotion is free.
* Promoters
and businesses can purchase banner ads in both The Loop calendar and the weekly Ebulletin.
There are
currently over 3,000 subscribers with thousands of others hitting the website
every week. Our subscriber and website viewers main demographic is the 21 - 44
y. old online 'urban influencers'. People who go out to events and support local culture
and local business.

Growing
up in Toronto
but now living in a smaller city, she knows that no matter what size city or
town, people want to feel good about where they live. Part of that feeling
derives from being aware of local cultural events - being 'in the loop'.
'Living
where we do, it is always disappointing to hear about a great event after the
fact. So, I try and recommend bands that are passing through that have great
reviews, award winning international cinema, art shows from established and up
and coming national artists, author readings, anything multi-cultural, and the
less publicized, unique events that you might otherwise miss.'
