Forget #fitspo, there’s a new healthy living social media trend in town: #fridgegoals. This hashtag is encouraging people to open up (their fridge, that is) and show off whatever’s inside.

The fridges that people are most proud to post about are the ones fully stocked with fruit and vegetables, which are expertly organized with the most perfect light shining down. And they’re surprisingly satisfying to look at.

Taking a shelfie has a similar feel to the trend where people post weekly photos of their weight loss in order to stay motivated. The #fridgegoals hashtag has the same sort of effect — no one wants to show off a sad fridge with just a Costco-sized tub of sour cream, four cartons of lemonade and a few packages of bologna. It’s another way to promote healthy living…. by avoiding public shame.

Let’s take a peek into a few, shall we?

This fridge is gorgeous, but seriously, what does one even DO with this many red peppers!?

So tonight when you get home, rather than raising your smartphone for a selfie, open the fridge door and take a #fridgeshelfie. But you might want to stop at the produce market before you get home…
