It’s the night before your holiday party and you’ve finished prepping everything… except for the drinks. But don’t let that ‘oh crap’ moment settle in and ruin the rest of your day. After all, we’ve got three incredibly simple holiday punch recipes to save your night and satisfy your guests. So give one of these belly-warming drinks a try and let yourself enjoy the rest of your holiday festivities.

Fruity Sorbet Punch

What you need

  • 5 cups tropical punch
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 4-5 cups gingerale
  • 1 bottle champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1 pint (2 1/2 cups) fruity sorbet

What you do

  1. Pour all ingredients into a bowl and mix until frothy.
  2. Indulge.

Slow-Cooked Mulled Wine

What you need

  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 whole anise star
  • 4 green cardamom pods
  • 5 whole cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Cranberries, to taste
  • Orange zest, to taste
  • Orange slices
  • 1/4 cup brandy

What you do

  1. Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and stir to combine.
  2. Cook on low for 30 mins to an hour.
  3. Garnish with cranberries, orange slices and a cinnamon stick.

Chocolate Eggnog

What you need

  • 8 oz. (1 cup) prepared eggnog
  • 2-3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup rum
  • Whipped cream, for garnish
  • Shaved chocolate, for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick, for garnish

What you do

  1. Heat eggnog, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg and cocoa powder. Whisk together to combine.
  2. Add in rum (because everything tastes better with a splash of booze).
  3. Pour mixture into glass. Then top with whipped cream, shaved chocolate and a cinnamon stick to complete your picture-perfect Christmas drink.
