Last Friday’s highly anticipated Fenty Beauty release had the internet in a frenzy. After all, who wouldn’t want to look as flawless as Robyn Rihanna Fenty? From highlighters to shimmer skinsticks to lip luminizers, Rih Rih meant business.

But perhaps the most celebrated part of Rihanna’s impeccably designed makeup collection is its Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation. Queen Rih, who wanted to keep the line as inclusive as possible, released 40 foundation shades, from the lightest of ivories to the deepest, richest browns.

“That was really important, for me, for every product. I kept saying, ‘There needs to be something for a dark-skinned girl, there needs to be something for a pale girl, there needs to be something for everyone in between,'” she said at the Fenty Beauty press event in NYC.

And now, Sephora can’t keep the dark shades off the shelf. A look on the American site tells us that the medium dark to dark shades in 390, 400, 410, 420, 430, 440, and 450 are all sold out. A variety of the darker foundations are also sold out on the actual Fenty Beauty website. Lucky for us Canadians, all the darker shades still seem to be available on the Sephora Canada website, but we can’t guarantee they’ll be up there for long.

To all the big box brands who thought darker foundations wouldn’t sell (and chose not to make them because of this flawed logic), we’re reminded of that timeless line from Field of Dreams, “If you build it, they will come.” Better get building, because Rihanna has built, installed her throne and will not be leaving any time soon.
