Let’s be honest, it’s pretty hard to dislike Foo Fighters main man Dave Grohl. Not only is he a great musician who has been a part of two massive rock bands (Nirvana and the Foos) he’s also pretty much the nicest dude in rock and roll. But he is a man with an opinion, and he likes to make that opinion heard. Whether it’s speaking out against electronic music oregotisticalrock stars, Grohl lays down the law. His latest slag was against pop icon Britney Spears.
Grohl, who was filling in for Chelsea Handler on her talk showChelsea Latelyin a special string of Grammy episodes made a joke about Spears getting passed over for her much rumoured Vegas residency by hypnotists. After the show’spanelmade some digs at Spears, Grohl joked “She just kinda seems dead inside, like there’s nothing behind her eyes Like there’s nothing in her boobs anymore!”
Despite all of the digs, Spears’manager Larry Rudolph says Britney is still in “deep negotiations” to headline a residency in Las Vegas. According to Rudolph, “Id be shocked if itdidn’thappen. We’re hoping to have a deal done very soon.”
