Let me start off by saying I have NO idea how much it costs to take care of 14 kids so perhaps, if all else fails, stripping to pay the bills makes sense. Ugh. Did I just take Octomom’s side?
It’s been a few weeks since Nadya Suleman signed up for welfare yet again, and TMZ is now reporting that Octo has signed up for something else — another stripping gig. Sources say Suleman will get $20,000 to go topless at T’s Lounge in West Palm Beach, Fla., and this will be her last time. Uh-huh. It’s reportedly part of a deal she worked out with the club to settle an ongoing legal issue.
Last year, the club sued Octo for breach of contract after she agreed to strip for them, then bailed after staffers talked about her to the media. Suleman and the folks at T’s hashed out a deal last month and TMZ claims Nadya will perform her four paid shows from Feb. 14 to Feb. 16. Lap dances aren’t part of the arrangement but Octo’s game for bartending and dancing on stage.
How far will $20,000 get her, really, in the grand scheme of things? It’s merely a Band-Aid, so what will she do in a couple of months when it runs out? Perhaps another porn video, especially since the first one did so well. The single mom won Best Celebrity Sex Tape at the Adult Video News (AVN) Awards, which honours the best in the adult entertainment industry.
“Seriously it has not sunk in yet,” Suleman said to E! News of her win. “This is fantastic, what an honour. Hopefully this will open the doors to more opportunities. I’m proud I did this movie, it helped me grow into a woman. Octomom Home Alone is a true reflection of my intimate side. I am excited to have the award, I am trying to figure out where I will put it.”
