Robert Pattinson has been working in Australia for the past several weeks, and everyone’s wondered if he and Kristen Stewart are on the verge of a final breakup since she hasn’t visited him once. I just chalked it up to her feeling secure enough in their relationship to not distract him from filming, plus, flying thousands of miles for a couple of hours here and there just seemed like a bit of a pain.
But Star magazine is reporting Kristen has been lonely without her sparkly man and has been shaking her scraggly locks at another guy in Rob’s absence. The dude in question? Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver‘s eldest son, Patrick. And it all started earlier this month at Taylor Lautner‘s birthday party. Twi-hards, blame the werewolf.
“She was creeping on Patrick big time,” a source told Star (via Radar Online). “People were saying they should get a room because the energy between them was so hot.”
This trouble-in-Twilight talk comes hot on the heels of the couple, and the movie, not getting any love from the MTV Movie Awards, a show that many called The Twilight Awards in recent years. This was to be one of Bella and Edward’s last hurrahs and Kristen and Rob didn’t even get a Best Kiss nomination. Gasp infinity! I was really hoping Stewart and Pattinson would defy the odds and be more than their Twilight characters, but since they don’t have that bond anymore, I wonder how much longer they’ll last.
If Kristen is trying to move in on Patrick, she could do a lot worse. I always thought it was weird that Taylor Swift went for Patrick’s cousin, Conor Kennedy, but maybe that had more to do with Maria’s protectiveness than anything else. If Shriver wasn’t down with a good girl like Swifty, I can just imagine how fast she would put the kibosh on anything Stewart-related. Move on, Kristen; you don’t stand a chance.
