Brace yourself for some “intense” footage folks. It finally happened this week on American Idol. The fight everyone was talking about since this past fall. Nicki Minaj versus Mariah Carey. It was so on…and it ended up being so nothing. Seriously underwhelming.
While judging a potential contestant, things began getting heated between Minaj, Carey and Randy Jackson. Jackson and Carey were suggesting that the young female singer should focus her vocal efforts in a country direction. Minaj began getting frazzled at the two for not letting the young girl choose her own vocal destiny. And then things started to get slightly ugly.
Minaj and Carey bickered back and fourth like little children until Minaj decided to storm out and leave the panel in a frustrated tantrum. A really mature bunch.
But that was kind of it…I don’t know about you, but the hype about the beef seemed pretty overplayed and childlike. And Jackson was just as involved!
