Chris Brown is always finding new ways of offending people. He almost has a gift for it. His latest target are the little children in his Beverly Hills neighbourhood. He’s scaring them with the satanic artwork that he has painted on the side of his mansion.
Neighbours have complained to L.A. city code officials that Brown’s street graffiti inspired sharp-toothed goblin art is scaring children in the community and ruining the neighbourhood aesthetic. Hmm, who would have thought street graffiti on a mansion in the suburbs would be tacky?
One neighbour told the LA Times:
“There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they’re literally frightened. It’s like devils on the wall — big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we’re used to.”
L.A. city code officials have responded to the neighbours’ complaints and have fined Brown a whopping $376 for unpermitted signage and given him 30 days to remove they tacky art from outside his home.
Brown’s lawyer says the singer refuses to take down the art and is fighting back.
According to the lawyer: “I’m scared of neighbourhood busybodies like this. They’ve called animal control. They have sicked parking enforcement on him, and now they reached the heights of ridiculousness here. Shame on them.”
