Stop trying to make LiLo on DWTS happen, ABC! No matter how much money you throw at her, the former Mean Girl ain’t gonna take it.

TMZ reports that Lindsay Lohan has turned down several offers to compete on the new season of Dancing With the Stars. Apparently the actress, last seen in the Lifetime trainwreck Liz & Dick, isn’t interested in appearing on reality TV. (Hey, we don’t blame her, considering what happened last time she did.)

DWTS has yet to confirm anything, telling TMZ that they “don’t comment on casting.” However, a source assures the gossip site that ABC tried to tempt Lohan with pay cheques totaling up to $550,000.

Lohan could really use the extra cash and press at the moment, especially after Liz & Dick‘s more than lacklustre reviews. The TV film was supposed to be her big comeback, as she portrayed the late, great, Oscar-winning actress Elizabeth Taylor. Instead, it came off as, more or less, a parody of both Taylor and Lohan. At one point in the film, Lohan’s Liz actually exclaims, non-ironically, that she’s “SO BORED!”

Furthermore, as evidenced by the stellar Dance Dance Revolution moves she displayed in the teen movie Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Lohan might actually have had a chance to do well on DWTS. Well, that is if she actually showed up to practice ever.

Lohan’s only pseudo-major upcoming project is the film The Canyons, which comes from the warped mind of American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis and co-stars porn star James Deen. The flick was recently rejected by the Sundance Film Festival due to Lohan’s off-screen antics.

ABC has yet to release the list of upcoming DWTS contestants. The competition series returns to CTV and ABC Monday, March 18 at 8 p.m.
