E!’s Fashion Police is down one today. Kelly Osbourne, who appears alongside Giuliana Rancic, Joan Rivers and George Kotsiopoulos on the sartorial satire show, had to be rushed from the set Thursday after suffering a seizure.
TMZ reported the news late Thursday, noting that Osbourne ended up in the hospital around lunchtime following the sudden attack. Apparently she was in the middle of shooting when she started to feel off. She tried to tell this week’s co-host, Melissa Rivers (Joan’s daughter), this, but before she could explain, she was on the floor.
The younger Rivers responded to Osbourne’s struggle immediately, as did a medically-inclined audience member. Shortly afterwards, Osbourne’s reps sent her off to the ER for closer investigation.
Apparently Osbourne actually seemed good to go a few minutes after the seizure, getting up and everything. But her people wanted to play it safe rather than sorry. And who can blame them, considering Osbourne’s history with accidents? Just a few weeks back, the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon sprained her ankle after a clumsy bathroom encounter.
According to reports from the Rivers girls and Osbourne’s Twitter feed, the star is “fine” now. However, she is still unsure what caused the sudden attack.
“Yes I did have a seizure,” Osbourne tweeted to fans Thursday, after thanking them for their “beautiful well wishes,” adding, “They are just trying to figure out why.”
