July 4th will hold an even more special meaning for Jimmy Kimmel; the late-night show host has booked a weekend following the holiday to marry his fiancée, Molly McNearney.
The New York Post says Kimmel has sent out save-the-date cards to invitees, asking them to set aside the weekend following the American holiday.
“I’m not that involved with the wedding planning, but I will be there,” Kimmel, 45, divulged to Us Weekly at a November 2012 soirée. “I’ll have some jobs, but it’s still a long way off. It’ll be mostly a family affair and there will be a Catholic priest officiating.”
Kimmel and McNearney have been dating since 2009; she is a co-head writer on his ABC talk show, which moved to the 11:35 p.m. ET timeslot in January.
Kimmel has two children with his first wife, Gina, whom he divorced in 2002 after 14 years of marriage. The New York City native was in a five-year relationship with comedienne Sarah Silverman that ended in 2008.
Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC and at midnight on Citytv.
