The family of late actor Michael Clarke Duncan are having his former fiancé, Omarosa Manigault, investigated, hinting she may have influenced him into leaving the bulk of his estate to her.
TMZ reports Michael’s sister, Judy, has hired an attorney to look into changes The Finder actor made to his will in April 2012, which left the reality star as the main beneficiary. Judy alleges her brother was not of sound mind or in good health when he made the amendments.
Judy told the gossip site that Manigault “was fixated” on Michael’s money while he was on life support following a massive heart attack he suffered on July 13, 2012. He died Sept. 3 at the age of 54.
According to Judy, Manigault has already sold off several of her brother’s personal items, including watches, cars, awards and the director’s chair from The Green Mile.
“I don’t control the estate or the finances and Judy knows it,” Manigault fired back via TMZ. “If you saw all of her emails and texts to me you would see that she is just trying to get money from me, and threatened going to press if I did not give it to her and that is a crime!”
Judy received $100,000 in Michael’s will.
