It’s another day of legal troubles for Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans.
E! News reports that the 21-year-old MTV reality series star was arrested in North Carolina yesterday for an alleged possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, along with assault on her husband, 27-year-old Courtland Rogers.
Rogers was also arrested for hitting the reality star “on the neck and striking her with a closed fist on her head,” says TMZ.
After initially going to Rogers and Evans’ home to investigate a domestic dispute between the two, officials found the paraphernalia, including 12 bundles of heroin, before arresting Evans.
Additionally, Evans was served with papers for failing to pay child support for her three-year-old son, Jace, at the time of her arrest, according to TMZ.
This is not the first time Evans has been under arrest. Fans of Teen Mom 2 are well aware of the star’s colourful history and troubled past with the law, violating her probation once before by testing positive for marijuana and opiates, along with her most recent stint in a rehab facility in March, where she left the 30-day program sooner than planned.
Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
