Grab your dancing shoes and get ready to laugh: Ellen DeGeneres has officially been named the host of the 2014 Academy Awards ceremony.

DeGeneres spilled the beans via Twitter on Friday morning before media outlets quickly jumped on the story.

“It’s official: I’m hosting the #Oscars! I’d like to thank @TheAcademy, my wife Portia and, oh dear, there goes the orchestra,” the funny woman tweeted to her followers.

It won’t be the first time DeGeneres has taken on Oscar hosting duties; she headed up the ceremony’s 79th annual gathering in 2007. DeGeneres has also hit the Emmy stage twice as MC, in 2001, 2005, and a co-hosting gig in 2003.

Family Guy‘s Seth MacFarlane hosted the Academy Awards last year, receiving mixed reviews. But while the reviews were mixed, the broadcast was a hit: over 40 million tuned in.

Producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan (Chicago, Hairspray, The Bucket List) return to executive-produce the glitzfest.

The Oscars are set to be broadcast on March 2.
