Remember the new Vivid lipsticks that I was lusting over last week? Well, I’ve found a product that makes them even more awesome – No Bleeding Lips. The colour actually stays on the lips rather than feathering onto the skin, which can look, well, awful.

I avoided lipstick for a long time because I loathed the idea of tracking down a matching lip pencil. If a lip pencil isn’t an exact match, it’s easy to end up looking like a ’90s version of Pam Anderson. So, when I discovered No Bleeding Lips (a New Zealand company with a name that gets to the point!), I was immediately intrigued.
It’s wax-based, which makes it clear, so you can wear any colour of lipstick or gloss and the texture is so light, you barely notice you’ve applied an extra layer. Because it’s clear, you don’t have to feel stressed out about having a devastatingly obvious line around the outside of your lips. It’s so simple to apply, too – just line along the natural path of your lips. I drew inside a little as well.
I can’t stress enough how well this product works. I have it on right now as I type this, actually. It not only stops lipstick from bleeding, but I found my lipstick didn’t wear off as quickly either. A must-have for anyone who’s looking to wear a pop of colour on their lips.
