Elizabeth Hurley had the honour of tossing the coin to start the charity match at the Cirencester Cricket Club last weekend, but it’s not a surprise considering the actress is engaged to Shane Warne, the captain of the Australian team.
The couple announced their engagement on Twitter back in 2011 and always appear to be lovey-dovey when spotted in public. So what makes them such a good match?
“I’m manic about my schedule. I like mapping everything out. I like to know what we’re doing at half term and at Christmas. I’d drive someone demented if they’re not like that. Shane’s the same. We have different eating habits but there’s not much more than that,” Hurley told the Daily Mail.
They also share a bond over their pasts.
“We’re both from similar backgrounds with loving parents and not much money. We’ve both lived out of suitcases for 20 years, both been breadwinners for 20 years. Everything we have we’ve made ourselves.”
It seems the two are destined for a happy marriage, and they looked very happy together at the charity cricket match. The 47-year-old actress was ready for spring weather in a polka-dot dress and nude wedges.
