A low-maintenance Snooki? One of the most flamboyant faces on reality TV has gotten a must-see makeunder courtesy xoJane’s new spinoff beauty site, xoVain.
The new mom’s signature bronzer, mascara and eyeshadow have been swapped for a look that’s not completely bare faced (it’s a makeunder, not a miracle), but does bring a new level of sophistication to Ms. Nicole Polizzi’s look.
“We envisioned a softer Snooki–one who still loves makeup, but who uses a lighter hand when she applies it,” xoVain beauty director Marci Robin explains. “Motherhood has brought out a gentler side of the reality star, and we wanted that interpreted in her makeup and hair.”
The dress, a vintage Filipino wedding gown, did the trick when it came to softening the flamboyant reality star’s look. Luckily, no one asked her to fall in love with it. “Someone actually got married in this?” she asked as she was posing, the site reports. “Ugh.”
With a mission: accomplished makeunder, the xo team’s next project should be making under Snooki’s notoirious mouth. In the accompanying interview, she says her next self-improvement goal is breast implants. “I’ve always wanted a boob job because I have big boobs, but when I take the bra off, they sag,” she says.
Asked if the famously busty J WOWW, her co-star on reality series Snooki and JWOWW, was her inspiration, she says, “No, I’ve wanted to get fake boobs since I was, like, 10.” Proof that beauty—and makeunders—are only skin deep.
