With eight days to go before New York Fashion Week, the designers may be scrambling, but the photo-feeding social media phenomenon Pinterest is prepared. Already something of a makeshift mood board for aspiring street style stars and leading designers alike, Pinterest launched a fashion week hub for the first time on Wednesday, August 28.

Tech-savvy fashion personalities such as model Coco Rocha and Lucky editor Eva Chen were high-rankers in the first hours the hub was live, and as fashion week begins, the page will feature the latest collections as they stomp from the runway to your smartphone.

London, Paris and Milan will follow in the weeks to come (no word on Toronto though). If you don’t already have the app, clearly the time to get it is now. And while you’re waiting for that to download, here are four more fashion apps that are fashion mobile musts.

Call it Instagram for personal style stars. The app contains a live stream of proud fashion moments by personal style bloggers, including celebrities such as Rachel Zoe and The Man Repeller herself, Leandra Medine.

Daydreaming away about fantasy outfits is one thing, but StyleBook deals with the real deal. Billed as a “virtual closet,” it encourages you to photograph your wardrobe, then combine options to create outfits you already own.

Vogue U.K.
Launched in June, the fashion bible’s app offers aspirational eye candy including a fashion editor curated Buy of the Day, a daily dissection of U.K. It girls’ ensembles called Today I’m Wearing, archived Vogue U.K. content from Today In History, and fashion quotes of the day. There’s also a weather forecast option to help plan your outfit, but it caters to the U.K. audience.

Flare Essentials
A celeb-inspired Beauty 101, the Flare Essentials app compiles step-by-step instructions for 20 iconic looks. The seizure-inducing sizzle reel flashes dozens of icons including Marilyn Monroe and Jane Birkin but the final 20 won’t be revealed until the app drops in September.
