People of the world, the first commercial for Victoria Beckham‘s Target collection has dropped and it is 30 seconds of magic, especially if you call yourself a Spice Girls fan (and, really, who isn’t?). Not only is it packed with adorable girls and beautiful women modelling Vic’s fun, vibrant designs; the entire advert is set to the Spice Girls’ 1997 hit, “Spice Up Your Life.”
Damn, the only thing missing is Posh herself as well as daughter and inspo Harper (and Scary, Baby, Ginger and Sporty, but we digress). But their absence doesn’t make it any less glorious.
The ad shows some pieces from the VBxTarget collection, like monochrome suits, floral jackets and boldly hued separates, not just for you but for the little ladies in your life as well.
Beckham announced her partnership with Target last fall, saying in a statement, “I was inspired to create the Victoria, Victoria Beckham line when I was pregnant with Harper, and since its launch, the category has evolved into an established lifestyle collection. With both the line and my daughter turning 5, I felt it was the perfect time to extend into a more accessible price point and to celebrate both milestones by opening the range up to include childrenswear for the first time.”
The VBxTarget collection features more than 200 items and range in price from $6 to $70 (though most of the pieces will be under $40). It hits stores and Target.com on April 9 and we can’t decide if we’d rather pay the shipping costs or attempt a shopping trip across the border. Hmm, the latter does calls for a road trip so we can sing along to the Spice Girls all the way there … Yup, decision made!
