Queen Elizabeth makes the most royal of royal appearance at Church on Sunday

Queen Elizabeth is back after nearly a month on the mend. She came down with a cold over Christmas, and spent the good part of the holidays bundled up (we imagine) in her palace, even missing out on her traditional Christmas and New Year’s outings.

But this Sunday morning she was finally out and about with Prince Philip et all at St Mary Magdalene Church. And in good form, too!

Cold, pfft. She’s 90 years old and she looks like Spring itself come early.

Some outlets were speculating the worst, but our favourite Queen wasn’t having any of it. And look how charming she looks in this all blue ensemble.

Also on the mend is Shannen Doherty, aka “#cancerslayer”

We loved Brenda Walsh for her go-get-her attitude and sass on 90210, and we love Shannen Doherty just as much. Doherty, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in November, has been an open book on social media, and over the weekend made a heartfelt shout out to her team of amazing doctors (and Maggie, the machine behind the group).

We’re so moved by Doherty and her honesty about her battle with the disease. Like, this video of her in between radiation treatments? So inspiring.

Chris Brown gets booted for all of eternity from gym chain

Chris Brown’s world just got a little smaller. On Friday afternoon, TMZ reported that Brown and his crew were causing a scene at a Lifetime Fitness location in New York City. The group was using the basketball court at the property, and allegedly playing loud music, swearing, and being all around jerks. When asked to calm the eff down or leave, Brown, in typical Brown fashion, had a major freakout spitting on the floor like a true gentleman on his way out. Someone’s gotta clean that up, Chris. C’mon.

Luckily, Lifetime Fitness staff won’t ever have to deal with the rapper and his negative energy again. The gym released a statement banning Brown and his group for life from all 100 locations. Time to take your fitness to a new space, Chris. Kick boxing, perhaps?

Alec Baldwin takes a shot at Trump

Seems like Alec Baldwin isn’t giving up his Saturday Night Live Trump character. And why would he? No caption needed. Though he did probably have to use Google translator.

Mariah Carey is still passing the blame on her lackluster NYE performance

Last week, we brought you up to speed on how Mariah spent her NYE (read: she royally messed up her performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest). She passed the blame, accusing the producers of setting her up to fail, like the true diva she is.

But, Carey just can’t seem to let it go. On Sunday morning, she took to Twitter, posting an audio clip where she explains, in her own words, exactly what went wrong. “I want everyone to know that I came to New Year’s Eve in New York in great spirits and was looking forward to a celebratory moment with the world. It’s a shame that we were put into the hands of a production team with technical issues who chose to capitalize on circumstances beyond our control,” Carey says in the two-minute clip. Diva much? Yuh-huh!
