Pokemon is making one heck of a comeback.

The Nintendo-owned franchise that exploded in the late 90s has once again resurfaced. Only now, instead of a card game and Game Boy game, the new craze is all about a mobile app called Pokemon Go. The game works by using your phone’s GPS to pinpoint where you are in real life to make Pokemon appear around you virtually. Depending on what time it is and what environment you’re in (near a lake, forest, on the street, etc.) different kinds of creatures will appear. That’s why players are encouraged to travel far and wide at all different times in the hopes of “catching ’em all.”

As you might’ve guessed, that’s resulted in people ending up in some pretty weird places looking for Pokemon. Check it out:

Pokemon have a way of showing up at the worst possible times

Or in places you’d never expect

Sometimes there’s just no way to get to them

Unless you’re really willing to do whatever it takes

People are literally risking their lives to catch ’em all

Someone actually found a dead body while looking for Pokemon

If there is a rare one nearby, this is what you can expect to see

Even random buildings aren’t off limits
