The 2017 Forbes 30 Under 30 list is officially out, and we’re tickled pink by some of the faces making this year’s list.
With over 20 categories including Art & Style, Consumer Tech, Hollywood & Entertainment, Media and more, the list names 600 people to fill the highly-coveted spots.
The business magazine, which has been pointing out young, highly-influential movers and shakers for the past six years, explains the list as “the most definitive gathering of today’s leading young change-makers and innovators in the US.” Easy to see why. Past names include Facebook mogul Mark Zuckerberg and Hollywood’s highest-paid actress, Jennifer Lawrence.
But this year, things are looking a bit…different. Prettier, and better groomed. Yes, there are still loads of highly successful tech innovators and celebrity starlets, but we’re also seeing some of our favourite beauty faces score spots.
James Charles, CoverGirl’s first-ever male ambassador made the list in the Arts & Style category. His Instagram following is now well over 1.2 million, and many of his YouTube videos garner over half a million views per clip.
Kylie Jenner also made the list for her highly successful lip kits, which sold out faster than anyone could’ve anticipated. According to Forbes, Kylie is now the second highest earning in the Kardashian/Jenner clan (Kim still takes the cake).
Also of note in the style and beauty realm is Amber Venz Box, 29, founder of the Instagram shopping tool LikeToKnow. It; YouTube vlogger Bethany Mota, 21; and Danielle Bernstein, 24, creator of WeWoreWhat.
We have so much love and respect for this entire list of young, talented humans. And it’s a thrill to see those hustling in the digital fashion and beauty world being recognized for their hard work.
These people are an inspiration to all of us—even if we’re over 30.
