Superwoman YouTuber Lilly Singh and eTalk hosts Danielle Graham and Ben Mulroney may have to watch out for their jobs. Kathryn Gillies and Doris Mackenzie have made their debut and the landscape of TV is changed forever. Seventy has never looked sweeter (or more brazenly confident).

Kate, 76, and Doris, 78, are friends from Nova Scotia who won etalk’s online contest for a trip to the 2017 iHeartRadio MMVAs last Sunday. The duo showed up in stellar fashion to walk the pink carpet, socialize with celebrities and make the etalk hosts a little nervous. The ladies may be looking for a little post-retirement dabble in the TV business (or however else they can become millionaires) and no one is safe. They’re sure moving in on Ben’s job will be easy and they’re on their way to taking on Danielle too.

The two also made sure to get some ‘bawse’ advice from YouTuber Lilly Singh, and now she might not be in the clear either. Singh helped Kate and Doris decide on a how best to become millionaires and it looks like they might be taking their talents to YouTube too. An East Coast YouTube channel featuring step-dancing tutorials and wild N.S. parties gets an instant ‘subscribe’ from us, that’s for sure.

And the ladies’ talents don’t end there. They also took on Canadian World of Dance contestants Jenalyn Saraza-Pacheco and Luka Milacic-Perusina in a pink carpet dance-off. They pretty much slayed the first round but when the WoD stars whipped out a lift and spin, the ladies conceded.

After working hard at the show, the two hit the after-party for a well-deserved night of fun. The MMVAs was just one part of their four-day trip to Toronto eTalk prize. Kate and Doris were randomly selected from over 24,000 contestants for this once-in-a-lifetime trip and they are certainly making the most of it. Personally, we’re just glad that these ladies are now on the public radar. It’s a near crime that they’ve spent 70 years tucked away in Nova Scotia. Yes, Kate and Doris are definitely Canada’s new superwomen.
