It was a season of incredible performances and heartbreaking eliminations, and it all came down to Tuesday night’s finale. Season 13 of The Voice featured coaches Miley Cyrus, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine all fighting to win this season, while fellow coach Jennifer Hudson continued being the most supportive member of the panel. But in the end, Blake Shelton brought in his sixth win (seriously, why doesn’t everyone just choose Blake?) with powerhouse rocker Chloe Kohanski. We totally predicted it.

The night gave us big, bigger and biggest performances from the final four, including Brooke Simpson, Addison Agen, Red Marlow and Chloe, who were paired up with A-list singers. But they weren’t alone. We also saw members of the Top 10, including our beloved Davon and future teen idol Noah Mac, return to the stage to get the chance to sing with some of today’s biggest artists.

As for the final four, of course they didn’t disappoint. Addison Agen sang “Don’t Know Why” with the incomparable Norah Jones. It was just as pretty if not more pretty than we expected a duet from these two to be, and we expected a lot.

Brooke Simpson is a powerhouse pop singer, so she needed to be paired with one. Sia? Oh yeah, Sia will work. The pair performed Sia’s “Titanium” as a ballad and we liked it even more than the original.

Red Marlow got his country on with Grammy winner Vince Gill, with the two performing “When I Call Your Name.” If you had a sweetheart nearby, this was the perfect slow dancing music.

Our favourite pairing for the final four was definitely Chloe Kohanski with Billy Idol, mostly because of Chloe’s tearful reaction when Blake told her who she would be duetting with. Whether or not Chloe was going to be at the winner at the end of the show, getting to perform with one of your idols (pun intended) is a massive win.

After two hours of performances and some questionable sketches featuring the coaches, it was finally time to announce the Season 13 winner.

In fourth place was Red, third place was Brooke and runner up was Addison, which left rocker Chloe as the winner of Season 13! Did we mention we predicted that? Totally, totally did.

Prepare to hear a lot more of Chloe’s stunningly smoky voice on a radio station near you. Let the 1980s invasion begin.
