Santa Claus is a big deal in many households. For others, there’s “Elf on the Shelf.” If you embrace the phenomenon and give assistance to the special elf scout sent from the North Pole to manage the big guy’s naughty and nice lists, then well done, you creative parents. Santa is overworked at this time of year (just like the rest of us) so we totally understand how an elf can come in handy.

On the other hand, telling kids that they’re constantly being watched by an unblinking, mischief-causing minion of S.C. himself sounds a bit creepy, no? And in actual practice, it would appear things with our ol’ friend Mr. Elf can get real dark, real fast. (Warning: These are for grown-up eyes only.)
