You know what they say… “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Well, apparently, that’s how Cole Sprouse feels about the potential of a Suite Life of Zack & Cody revival.Surely, most millennials will remember the Disney programming which dominated our attention spans for the better half of a decade, of which The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and The Suite Life on Deck spin-off, were obvious staples. And since this seems to be the year of epic TV reunions and revivals, it should come as no surprise that some fans have pitched the idea of revising the classic Disney series. But if we were hoping the Sprouse brothers, Brenda Song, Ashley Tisdale, Phill Lewis, and the rest of the cast were about to once again take over our TV’s any time soon, it seems we are sadly mistaken.Chatting with Jimmy Fallon, Monday on The Tonight Show (weeknights @ 11:35 ET on CTV2), Cole was quick to dismiss the idea. "I don't think it should be done if I'm being honest. I think there's a huge potential to kind of demolish that perfect little golden memory of a program if you go back and you revive it."[video_embed id='5664809677001']RELATED: Cole Sprouse on the dark side of 'Riverdale.'[/video_embed]Cole went on to share his stance on spin-offs and sequels, explaining that “If enough time elapses, everyone who comes back to a program like that—they're not really in the same headspace. So, to try and capture the same feeling that it was, in at least my childhood,...I don't know how it would feel. I think it would be enjoyable to find a way to do it that has a lot of respect and captures the feeling that people are actually desiring from that, but I don't know. I think it can be quite incendiary."Nostalgia certainly has a lot to go with the demand for the cast to revisit these characters many grew up with. It's actually been 15 years since the series premiered, and Cole tells Fallon why the show's fanbase lives on. "Even the way I remember a lot of those kids shows that I grew up on—or watching in this regard—they sort of fit within this golden, nostalgic little bubble," he continued. "So, there's always this tendency to glorify the things that we grew up with, especially the programming we grew up with. Thankfully, our show has sort of held the test of time."Okay Cole, fair point(s). But you can’t blame us for entertaining the reboot idea. The 27-year-old Riverdale actor also shed some light on the upcoming 5th season of his uber-popular teen soap opera, and even made a jab at the show. For the interview, Cole (or should we say Jughead?) chose a video chat background that featured an empty amphitheatre with Fallon as the sole audience member. Fallon chimed in, “It looks like a wax figure of me. Have you been to a wax museum recently?"Not missing a beat, Cole quickly shot back, "Besides the set of ‘Riverdale?"All jokes aside, Riverdale will return to viewers’ screens (in all it’s campy glory) sometime in January, and will reportedly include a major time jump to feature its characters 5 years into the future.[video_embed id='5664813605001']RELATED: Camila Mendes loves the mystery of 'Riverdale.'[/video_embed]
