It’s safe to say last night’s “Men Tell All” edition of The Bachelorette was a little different this season, and we all have one man to “thank.” Last week, Bachelor Nation rejoiced after Hannah Brown sent controversial contestant Luke Parker packing when he sex-and-religion shamed her, but turns out, we were all a little too quick to bust out the confetti. It wasn’t over. Not even close.
Before Hannah Brown’s former boyfriends took the stage, Chris Harrison played a short clip of what went down during the rose ceremony. Basically, Luke P. showed up, uninvited, and—in true Luke P. fashion—demanded that Hannah let him talk. After multiple attempts to get the dude to leave, Hannah pulled the ultimate power move and literally picked up the entire rose podium to move it away from him, showing that she’s a woman who makes her own rules. That small frame in the left hand corner with the audience cheering? Us.
It’s fairly safe to say that Hannah has dealt with a lot this season, but the Alabama native has proved time and time again that she is strong as heck. So let’s revisit the best moments during the season when Hannah not only stuck up for herself, but showed us what true boss babes are made of.
Like that time she called Scott out for having a girlfriend back home, on NIGHT ONE.
When she put the men in their place for getting involved in all that Luke P. drama instead of focusing on their relationship with her.
When she’s a queen and she knows it.
When she refuses to let a guy talk over her. Yas girl.
When she indirectly dissed “ABC” Cam after he told her a sob story in an attempt to secure a rose.
When she tried to school Luke P. on “How to Communicate: 101.”
When she stuck to her beliefs no matter what.
The silent “Zip it.” AKA all of us at Luke P.
And finally, the moment we waited weeks for. Boi bye.
We’re rooting for you Alabama Hannah!
