They’re not just amazing women; they’re amazing moms. These celebrities are handling whatever is thrown at them with the kind of cool confidence we wish we could channel on the regular.

Being a mom may be a 24/7, 365-days-year gig—the most full-time job on the planet TBH—but these ladies are providing the ultimate momspiration with their inner and outer strength, eagerness to fight for their kids and make changes that impact their lives and also keeping their pre-baby fires lit. Happy Mother’s Day to these very impressive first-time moms.

1. SERENA WILLIAMS

She is the GOAT in her sport, gender be damned. She won the Australian Open while she was pregnant, in case you forget, and after having daughter Alexis Olympia, she came back to tennis in epic fashion, winning matches and craving more grand slams. And, hey, if her babe needs her (or she needs her girl) she’ll squeeze that in too.

2. CARDI B

She’s genuine and candid about all manner of things, speaking freely about her past as a stripper, mistakes she’s made and how she’s worked her tail off to get where she is and guess what: motherhood hasn’t changed that. She’s just as open and honest and extra but with a mom twist because Cardi B is still Cardi B but now has daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus coming along for the ride.

3. MINDY KALING

This single mom’s schedule shows no signs of slowing down, which meant Kaling’s mom guilt was real.  She opened up to Glamour in January saying, “Getting over the guilt that I have to send someone else to take my child to a class that I’d like to go to is ongoing. But I’m kind of relieving myself of those guilty feelings.” And by being so open about how challenging being a working mom, albeit a very famous one, to daughter Katherine can be, she’s reassuring all busy moms that it’s okay.

4. GABRIELLE UNION

After years of pregnancy struggles, Union and husband Dwyane Wade welcomed daughter Kaavia into the world via surrogate. And having been through miscarriages and IVF treatment, the actress is aware of her strengths, is okay when life isn’t balanced, and is happier hanging out with her baby girl than anything else. Priorities, right?

5. EVA LONGORIA

All you need to do is glance at Longoria’s Instagram to know she’s all about two things: her son, Santiago, and lifting up other women. Now she’s determined to make the world a better place, not just for other women, but to  raise a son “with the idea that women are equal to men” and whatever opportunities are afforded to him, girls should have too. YAAAS.

6. AMERICA FERRERA

Ferrera’s empowerment started even before she gave birth to her first child, Sebastian. “Being pregnant, I felt really powerful and healthy,” she told Health magazine. “You create life. I found so much power in that.” And once little Baz entered the world, she knows she has to lead by example.

7. MEGHAN MARKLE

Aside from the epic photocall when the world met Archie, we have yet to see Meghan in post-baby action but if she maintains the schedule she kept before and during her pregnancy, we expect nothing less than the tenacity she’s shown up to now.

8. KATE UPTON

Some people think superheroes come with capes and tights and special weapons. Upton believes it’s all about breastfeeding. We wholeheartedly agree.

9. KYLIE JENNER

Kylie has said she always wanted to be a young mother and Stormi has changed her life for the better. Amazingly, since becoming a mom at 20, she went ahead and earned title of the world’s youngest self-made billionaire at 21 and shows no signs of slowing down her hustle.

10. KHLOE KARDASHIAN

Because she’s a mom, first and foremost, and puts her daughter ahead of any anger and bitterness related to infidelity issues with the father of her child, Khloe is finding a way to live as positively as possible. She’s basically a rock star for being able to see the big picture.

11. KENYA MOORE

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star revealed that it took her “a long time to receive the blessing of having a family,” but ever since Brooklyn entered the world, she is living her best life and grateful every day for her daughter, whether she’s learning things the hard way or teaching her daughter how to be a boss.
