Vegetables are so rarely cute, but that was before the introduction of kalettes.

Part kale and part Brussels sprout, these non-GMO hybrids were developed over 15 years in the UK and are the perfect combination of nutty and sweet. Not sure what to do with them? Not to worry, because these tiny bundles of leafy goodness can literally take what you throw at them: they can be grilled, roasted, sautéed or eaten raw. And seriously, not only are they adorable, but they are pretty healthy, too: Kalettes have 120 per cent of your daily vitamin K and 40 per cent of vitamin C for every 1½ cups.

Okay, they’re healthy, cute and you can do a lot with them, but what are you going to do with them? We looked into 11 fantastic ways to give these greens a go, and we think you’re going to love them. Bon appetit!
