After a huge wait, the sixth season of Game of Thrones is finally here and whether or not Jon Snow survived that brutal attack from the Night’s Watch is just one of many, many, many questions on our minds ahead of Sunday’s premiere.Of course, those crazy cliffhangers aren’t the only reason we watch the series. Between the gorgeous landscapes, amazing costumes and overall world-building that those who work on the show have managed to create, it’s a pretty damned impressive 10-week-run each and every season. So it’s no wonder that the experts behind language-learning app Babbel have delved into the languages spoken on the series in their own fashion, coming up with a pretty cool study that breaks down the origins of everything from Dothraki to the Common Tongue. Who knew that Dothraki and Winnie the Pooh had something in common? Or that giants had a special dialect? We’ve broken down some of the coolest things found in the study, below.

Game of Thrones returns Sunday, April 24 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO Canada.
