Universal Studios is about to get some competition. Sony Pictures has struck a deal with Dubai Parks and Resorts to create Motiongate Dubai, the city’s newest leisure and entertainment destination. It will span four million square feet (!!!) of Dubai Parks and Resorts and they anticipate it will attract three million visitors annually.
The Sony Pictures Studio and Smurfs Zone will contain 12 attractions inspired by popular Sony Pictures movies including Ghostbusters, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Green Hornet, Underworld, Hotel Transylvania, Zombieland and, of course, The Smurfs. But here are 12 more Sony movies we think would make for great amusement in this giant park. Buckle up; it’s about to get wild up in here.
