April 1 may be the first day of April, but more importantly it’s the time of year when you can give yourself a gullibility test. Do you fall for fun pranks right away, or are you someone who questions every tweet? Either way, April Fools’ can be a lot of fun and in the case of big named companies getting in on the action, a great way to dream of products we wish were real. Brewolingo, we’re looking at you.

Here are the 15 best April Fools’ Day pranks pulled by companies this year.

15. WESTJET OFFERS VIRTUAL ASSISTANT

WestJet pretended to offer a virtual assistant to its customers, which honestly sounds like a great idea. A robot that helps make flight changes, purchases in-flight meals, and books your travel for you? Um, can this be an actual thing by next April Fools’?

14. ENVIRONMENT CANADA’S ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE

To celebrate April Fools’, the National Research Council of Canada shared a picture of the ‘ongoing zombie apocalypse.’ Considering the success of shows like The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and Costco’s recent addition of Doomsday Prep Kits to their product offerings, we have a feeling more than a few people saw this pic and began preparing for the undead.

13. THE TASMANIAN POLICE FORCE

Police dogs are nothing new, but a police dog named Elvis that gyrates his hips at the first sound of trouble? Have mercy.

12. MOOSENADO HITS CANADA

Who says you can’t deliver the weather and have some fun along the way? While sharks have been having their moment in the sun thanks to the Sharknado franchise and Shark Week, moose deserve some love too. Environment Canada shared a picture of what they called Moosenado, a weather phenomenon that combines tornados and Canada’s beloved moose. Thankfully, tragedy can be avoided as long as witnesses know the secret steps.

11. BURGER KING’S CHOCOLATE WHOPPER

Burger King’s new Chocolate Whopper may be the result of an April Fools’ prank, but let’s be real – we would totally eat it, side of fries included. Chocolate on chocolate on chocolate with a side of chocolate? Like most fast food, we would enjoy it in the moment and then regret it about 25 minutes later. Fifteen minutes if we get the full-sized combo.

10. SODASOAK

Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons never expire, so that stack you’ve been stockpiling in your car will finally coming in handy with the new Soda Soak! Okay, maybe not, but you should treat yourself and finally get the Soda Stream you’ve had your eye on. The Soda Soak is similar to the actual Soda Stream, except that it turns your bath and your water bed (do they still make water beds?) into a fizzy explosion. Guaranteed by Reza Farahan and Game of Thrones star The Mountain.

9. GOOGLE PLAYS ‘WHERE’S WALDO?’

Thanks to Google Maps, you can tour the various sets of Game of Thrones, travel the world from the comfort of your home, and on April Fools’ Day, find Waldo. Google launched a Waldo-inspired plug in for the silliest holiday of the year, letting users search for Waldo and friends around the world.

8. THE ENERGIZER BUNNY TEAMS UP WITH PEEPS

For anyone who’s eaten an entire package of Peeps in one sitting, they know the sugary candy keeps going and going and going. For April Fools’ Day, Peeps teamed up with the Energizer Bunny to name the famous rabbit the latest celeb spokesperson for the confectionery company. It’s a joke, but it’s one that makes sense.

7. BREWOLINGO BY DUOLINGO

Duolingo is the app that has become famous around the world for helping people learn new languages, five minutes at a time. For April Fools’ Day, the company announced their new ‘partnership’ with America’s Owliest Brewery to help people learn languages by drinking beer. Introducing: Brewolingo, the product we really, really wish was real.

6. T-MOBILE SELLS THE WORLDS FIRST SMARTSHOEPHONE

Wish you could press your face against the dirty sole of your shoe every time you need to make a call? Neither do we, but that didn’t stop T-Mobile from running an April Fools’ Day prank that introduced the world’s first ‘smartshoephone.’ While the shoe phone may be a joke, you can actually buy pink sneakers from T-Mobile throughout the month of April. They are pretty cute.

5. COCA-COLA ADDS NEW FLAVOURS

Diet Coke recently introduced a new line of flavours, so it only made sense that Coca-Cola would follow, right? Well, maybe, but new flavours probably wouldn’t include Avocado, Sourdough and Charcoal. Admittedly, we kinda fell for the Avocado flavour. That could totally happen, it would just mean one can would be $10.

4. NETFLIX BUYS SETH ROGEN

Ever wonder how Netflix manages to score such big names for their original movies and TV shows, but never releases rating information? According to the company’s April Fools’ prank, it’s because they buy the celebs, including retaining the right to frame them for murder and then create a docu-series about the court case around them. Godspeed, Seth Rogen.

3. VIRGIN AUSTRALIA SPIN CLASS

The idea of getting a work out in while on a long flight seemed like a great idea, until we considered the reality of being stuck on a plane with 30 people who just burned 800 calories in 60 minutes. We’re pretty sure you can’t roll down the window on international flights, so maybe this is an idea better left as an April Fools’ prank by CEO Richard Branson.

2. THE CHEGG OSMOSIS PILLOW

Imagine if studying included napping with your textbook under your pillow? It’s literally the stuff dreams are made of. Chegg, the company that creates helpful study guides for students, played one of the meanest April Fools’ pranks we’ve ever seen when they advertised their new Chegg Osmosis Pillow, the memory foam pillow that lets you study while you sleep by simply placing your textbook under your pillow. Come on, science. Make this a reality!

1. RENT THE RUNWAY FOR DOGS

The key to making an April Fools’ Day gag work is making it believable. That’s why the online clothing company Rent The Runway, which allows customers to rent high-end outfits for a limited time, announcing they were expanding their offerings to dogs seemed pretty legit. We all know people who spend more on their dog’s outfits than their own. We may even be those people. So, a company renting haute couture doggy dresses? Yeah, we believed it.
