Summer weather may finally be here, but May is also that glorious time of year when the U.S. networks announce which new shows they’ll be investing their money into come fall. So if you love TV like we do, it’s kind of like Christmas come early as we check out which stars are going to settle into what new roles.
This year there are a few revivals and twists to watch out for (ahem, Murphy Brown and Dancing With the Stars Junior), but there are also tons of new comedies, a couple of cool dramas and plenty of familiar faces gracing the small screen. Now that the announcements are complete, here’s a breakdown of all 17 new shows hitting the major U.S. networks come September.

All American

Charmed
A modern-day remake of the original crafty series, this one follows three powerful sisters as they attempt to band together in the wake of their mother’s horrific death. The CW
FBI
Mega-producer Dick Wolf branches out for an inside look at the inner workings of the FBI’s New York office. Missy Peregrym (Rookie Blue) stars.CBS
God Friended Me
Brandon Michael Hall stars as an outspoken atheist whose life is turned upside down when he gets a friend request from God. CBS
Happy Together
A 30-something couple is in a suburban lull, until a young pop star unexpectedly moves in with them. Damon Wayans Jr., Amber Stevens West and Felix Mallard star. CBS
I Feel Bad
This latest comedy produced by Amy Poehler stars Sarayu Blue as a mother, wife, boss, friend and daughter who basically proves that trying to do it all is just never, ever possible. NBC
Legacies
If you’re missing The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, this spinoff follows the next generation of supernatural beings at The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. The CW
Magnum P.I.
A modern take on the classic Tom Selleck series… except new lead Jay Hernandez seems to have ditched the classic ‘stache. CBS
Manifest
The crew and passengers of a missing flight return to their lives five years later, where they’re greeted by friends and family who have grieved and moved on with their own lives in their loved ones' absences. NBC
A Million Little Things
A group of friends get a wakeup call to finally start living their lives after one of them unexpectedly dies. Ron Livingston, Romany Malco and David Giuntoli star.ABC
New Amsterdam
This medical drama stars Ryan Eggold (The Blacklist) as the latest medical director in the oldest public hospital in America—one where the staff is jaded and change is much, much needed. NBC
Rel
A divorce comedy starring Lil Rel Howery; this one is based on the man’s life in the South Side of Chicago after he learns that his wife is having an affair with his barber. Fox
Single Parents
A group of single parents band together in order to survive raising their seven-year-old kids. Brad Garrett, Taran Killam, Leighton Meester and Jake Choi star.ABC
The Cool Kids
This comedy follows a group of elderly friends living together in a retirement community as they vow to live life to the fullest and prove that growing old with dignity is for the dogs. Fox
The Kids Are Alright
This 1970s-set comedy follows a traditional Irish-Catholic family with eight kids as they attempt to survive one of the most turbulent decades in American history.ABC
The Neighborhood
A nice guy moves his white family into a predominantly black neighbourhood, where he learns his friendliness isn’t always appreciated. Max Greenfield (New Girl) and Cedric the Entertainer star. CBS
The Rookie
Nathan Fillion stars as a small-town guy pursuing big-city dreams when he ups and leaves his life in order to become an LAPD officer. ABC
