Sharing a bed isn’t always as sweet as it seems.
Some parents believe the family bed is the only way to go. It strengthens bonds, makes it easier for nursing moms and increases cuddle time (always a plus). But no matter how cute and cuddly your children are, there are still some issues that a co-sleeping parent will admit has them doubting their decision. As with every choice a parent makes, there are pros and there are cons.
This is sweet, right? Looks can be deceiving
Because there’s always a chance this could happen
Sometimes they’re not completely draped all over you. Just part of them is
Like, what if you have to pee? It’s either wake the babe or hold it. What to do, what to do…
A leg and elbow against the back? A charley horse waiting to happen
We don’t even know what’s happening here
Now this is adorable. You know, until one head smashes into another
A little more dramatic but at least they’re both sleeping
Unlike this gal, whose kids are clearly wide awake and don’t look to be going to sleep anytime soon
Or this woman, who probably didn’t catch any zzzz’s since her kid was practicing some UFC moves all night
This lovely lady looks terrified
She seems to have learned and knows now to protect her face. That or she’s at her wit’s end
Unlike like this mom, who is nursing a split lip. Damn
Hmm, wonder if this is the before shot?
At least this lady is smiling. Not sure for how long though
And I think we can all feel sorry for this mom. Here’s hoping the kid didn’t have any taquitos for dinner
How is this woman sleeping??
Well, at least she had somewhere to sleep, unlike the parents of this little dude
There are at least two other empty beds in the house, though, right?
Such a beautiful space. Too bad it’s unused
Dad has inches in which to sleep while his tiny son has taken over the bed. Good luck finding a spot, Mom
Aw, look how considerate they were, leaving just enough space for her to squeeze into
A foot in the shoulder can’t feel good
Do it all. Like this awesome mom, who can sleep with a foot in her face from one kid while breastfeeding another one
