If you’re really into Jared Leto, his band, the outdoors and spending a bunch of cash this summer, this might be the perfect vacation for you.
Jared Leto and his band, 30 Seconds to Mars, have announced that they are launching ‘Camp Mars’ this August. For fans willing to spend up to $2,000 U.S. on a pass, Leto and his bandmates are promising a three-day “rustic nature experience” weekend in Malibu, California.
So what do you get if you pay top price? You get to rough it with Leto and his pals in either a semi-private cabin, dorm, or a room in a lodge in Malibu, where you will take part in hiking, yoga, arts and crafts, a concert and a bunch of other camp activities you did for a lot less money when you were a child. You will also have an opportunity to have coffee and take a cooking lesson with band members Shannon Leto and Tomo Miličević (sorry, Jared isn’t available for one-on-one activities.)
For fans not willing to completely clear out their bank accounts for a weekend trip to ‘Camp Mars,’ Leto and his crew are offering a different pass for $799 that will allow you to take part in most of the activities… but you have to sleep in a tent. Or you can always just spend $549 or $399 on day packages and hang out for a few hours. Thanks, Jared!
