It just got a little easier to squash your weight-loss goals with these delightful tricks.

Squash lovers can rejoice, because there’s more than one way to enjoy this vitamin-filled power food, as highlighted in the video above. And who doesn’t need extra motivation to shed some of the “layers” we’ve all accumulated?

Not only is squash low in fat and calories, but it contains loads of beta-carotene, which our bodies use to make vitamin A (the stuff that helps with vision, bone growth and cellular reproduction). Plus they help prevent cancer and give you an extra dose of blood pressure-controlling potassium.

Did we also mention that they’re just plain old delicious? Especially when you think beyond the traditional roasted dishes and soups we usually associate them with.
