There are all sorts of shops across the country that are willing to help make you look good—and free of charge. High-end spots like Holt Renfrew will hook you up with a seasoned fashion pro who’ll dress you in the latest trends, her style advice all complimentary, and fast-fashion hot spots like TopShop do the same. And when you’re all shopped out for clothes, why not consider some new cosmetics that will enhance your already beautiful face at Sephora, which also offers a free consultation service.

Did we mention it’s all free?

Nordstrom

Nordstrom runs a tight personal shopping service. Book your appointment online or by phone, they’ll confirm in a day, and then, when you head into the shop, there will be a dressing room stocked with clothes selected just for you, and a personal stylist available to advise and help source the goods. The best things in life are free, and neither the birds nor the bees have use for personal shopping, so you might as well take advantage.

This is our JWN room, used for complimentary personal stylist appointments! P.s. Today is the last day for Triple Points #NordstromTO

Topshop

Topshop is usually a busy place. Fair. Their British-for-the-world, affordable take on fashion always helps us complete our wardrobe. Available at their Yorkdale, Yorkdale Plaza, Vancouver Pacific Centre and The Bay Queen Street locations in Canada, Topshop’s personal shopping service is a great way to find the items and sizes you’re looking for, without fighting for a dressing room or the attention of a salesperson. Call the store or email to book an appointment, and then get busy finding your new go-to outfits with their pros.

Anthropologie

Anthropologie is a great store to wander into and just browse. It’s whimsical and dreamy and always has fun music playing. But when you’re seriously shopping for a boho-chic piece or pieces–or even a wedding dress, which they do–you might want to consider booking time with one of their personal shoppers. The service is available to book at most stores in Canada via a simple online form, which we love. Shopping, expedited.

Holt Renfrew

Holt Renfrew is home to some of the most impressive high fashion brands including Chanel, Celine, Gucci and lots more. And while the price tag on some of these items may be beyond your means, that doesn’t mean you can’t take full advantage of their expert personal shoppers. Let the seasoned Holts stylists dress you in fresh off the runway fashion. Bring a pen and paper–you’ll want to make note of their styling tips.

J.Crew

Didn’t know your favourite store offered a personal shopping service? Neither did we. But we do now. J.Crew’s Very Personal Stylist service is only officially available in the States, but all of their Canadian employees are trained as stylists, so you can call your local J.Crew and book an appointment with one of their oh-so stylish associates. (Un)officially awesome.

The Room at The Bay

The Bay’s personal shopping experience is expertly brought to life at their Vancouver and Toronto locations of The Room. The high-end boutique prides itself on providing Canadians access to rare fashion collections from various European designers, and its complimentary personal shopping service, which takes place in a private Platinum Suite, will have you feeling like a fashion star in no time.

Saks Fifth Avenue

When you’re looking for that special item, you might as well start your search right at the top. Both Toronto locations of the iconic New York brand offer their Fifth Avenue Club to their shoppers. This is shopping like you’ve never experienced but totally deserve. Get comfy in their plush lounge as their experts go to work making you look like a million bucks. (Hopefully it doesn’t actually cost a million bucks…)
