Some may argue that there’s no greater bridal offence than taking the attention away from the bride on her wedding day (and other wedding-related activities, for that matter). A bride took to Reddit to gather some advice about a tricky situation with a 7-month pregnant bridesmaid at her wedding party.
This bride writes that she told her bridesmaid to stop holding her pregnant belly and to ‘stand normally’ in the wedding photo shoot. Before we rush to judge our bride, we need to hear her out.
According to the bride, the bridesmaid’s dress was not restricting her baby bump as it had a flowy, loose skirt. Yet she was holding her belly as if it was her maternity shoot rather than her friend’s wedding shoot. The bride points out she paid a lot of money to get these pictures done with the wedding party and she thought it was best to have a talk with her bridesmaid.
One of the other guests at the shoot informed the bride that the bridesmaid felt as if the bride was making her look ‘fat, not pregnant’.
Do you think the bride went too far, or should she have a say on how people pose in her (expensive) wedding photos?
